A Success!
The Japanese automaker Nissan has an aggressive marketing tagline:
‘shift’. One of Nissan’s commercials says, “A
shift has been made…and a better story will be told. A shift
has been made…the concrete jungle has been tamed. A shift
has been made…when you think adventure, on and off road, think
Nissan.” And still another clever Nissan commercial tells
the audience to shift_fun, shift_excitement, shift_passion, shift_exhileration,
shift_the future.
Shift_community support: Last Saturday, at our 7th Annual School
Dinner Auction, Brauts, Brew & Bids, I was witness to an electrifying,
sold out event. Our auction was a terrific celebration of community
support! Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who worked tirelessly
to prepare and facilitate our successful auction! The latest numbers
put this year’s auction at the top of all previous auctions
as we raised over $47,000. Great work!
Shift_generosity: Your generosity will send a strong and positive
message to the students, staff and the greater community of Visitation.
Showing that you value educational excellence reinforces our message
that academic success is achieved not only through education but
through the support of our community.
Shift_enthusiasm: Every person I spoke with was positive and enthusiastic
about our great school. Throughout the evening, the Parish Center
was abuzz with the positive changes and successes we have accomplished
this year.
Shift_future: Our school can be content with current growth and
accomplishments; or we can go beyond. We at Visitation Catholic
School want to reach for the stars by going beyond the expectations
and make a real difference in our children's lives.
A shift has been made…when you think quality Catholic education,
in and out of the classroom, think Visitation Catholic School in
Verboort.
