Hello, my name is Amy Hermance. I am looking forward to facilitating this year’s after school care – the Knight’s Club. My son Jacob is starting second grade, so this will be our third year at Visitation School. My daughter Grace is in her 2nd year of Preschool at Zion Lutheran in Hillsboro. My goal is to bring structure and fun to the Knight’s Club gathering; as well as some learning and focus on homework time. As for myself, I was born, raised and educated in Texas graduating with college degree in Fashion and minor in Business Management. I moved to Colorado – Aspen area for 6 years of skiing and met my husband Dean Hermance. We married and moved to Oregon over 12 years ago. I worked at Intel until my 1st born, Jacob, arrived and have been a stay at home active mom for the last 7 years, raising my two children. Over last two years at Visitation, I volunteered regularly in the lunch program, serving lunch on Wednesdays and being the main back up for Lisa Rosetty.
