Education:
B.S. in Elementary Education - Western Oregon State College

What year did you begin teaching? How long have you been teaching at VCS?
I began teaching in 1985. This school year will be my 16th at Visitation.

Favorite Subjects:
I enjoy teaching all subjects. However, I have a special love for Reading and Science.

Why I am a teacher:
I enjoy working with children. It is gratifying to see the growth of each child and witness them progress to competence and independence.

What I like most about teaching at VCS:
I enjoy the students and their families. It is nice to work with small class sizes that enable me to get to know students personally and individualize instruction.

How my faith influences teaching:
I believe that I have an obligation to share my faith, values, and morals with my students. Not only does my faith influence my teaching but working with children enhances my faith. There is no greater way to see God's creation than through the eyes of children.
